Whether you're seasoned or a total beginner, this workshop will guide you through the deeply satisfying process of relief printing. Artmarkit is joining us at Handzy for a session inspired by vintage postcards and hometown pride, themed "Wish You Were Here" in Covington.
You'll sketch your own design, choose one of our pre-drawn Covington landmark templates, or bring a photo of your own home to turn into a custom stamp. From there, you'll learn how to safely use carving tools and print your block onto premium paper. You'll leave with your own custom carved block stamp to reuse forever, plus a mini portfolio of 5 to 7 prints.
No prior printmaking or drawing experience necessary.
