Don't Touch My Hair! is a delightful picture book telling the story of a young black girl with gorgeous hair, and how far she has to go to escape all the curious hands that want to touch her hair. The story follows her as she avoids these hands, and shows how when she goes underwater mermaids want to touch it, or when she goes to outer space aliens reach for her curls, until finally she's had enough and teaches everyone a lesson about asking permission and respecting boundaries!
